Nference raises $11 million

Biomedical knowledge and AI company nference has raised a $11 million in a Series A financing round. The transaction was led by Matrix Partners, with participation from existing investor Matrix Capital Management.

The funding will be used to develop the company’s AI and R&D platforms, expand scientific operations in Cambridge MA, and establish nference Labs in Bangalore, India, said the company in a statement.
