New Intel eight generation chips to boost performance by 40%

Intel is starting to roll out its eight generation chips. The new mobile family processors are going to deliver a 40 percent jump in performance over its predecessors, says the chipmaker. You can also expect to get up to 10 hours of 4K UHD local video playback on a single charge, according to the company.

Laptops using the new chip will come to market beginning in September.
