Corel has launched the $99 AfterShot Pro photographic workflow solution for professional and amateur photographers alike. Based on technology from Corel’s acquisition of Bibble Labs, Corel AfterShot Pro runs on Windows, Mac OS and Linux, and is “a powerful and affordable alternative to products like Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and ACD Systems ACDSee,” says Corel.

Multithreaded and optimized for multi-core and multi-CPU computers, Corel AfterShot Pro delivers RAW processing and color-accurate images with regular support for an ever-increasing number of major camera manufacturers and models. Corel AfterShot Pro is available in English, German, French, Dutch, Italian and Japanese immediately as an electronic download (ESD). Box versions will be available from Corel’s global resellers later during the month. The upgrade version costs $79.99.
