Myspace Launches First Major Product Update Since Relaunch

Myspace has launched Portfolio, its first major product update since it was officially relaunched.

Portfolio is a multimedia tool that lets artists showcase their work (photos, videos, animations, and so on). Over 15,000 people have already activated the Portfolio feature on their profiles, says Myspace. 

Myspace is also debuting an artist-centric campaign highlighting some of its users. Artists featured in Myspace Artist Films include Hit-Boy, Portugal. The Man, Findlay, Amadeus, Axelrod, and aspiring rapper Ace Da God.

Myspace is launching Artist Films on October 23; these are personalized short-films, produced in collaboration between the artist and director, enabling featured artists to tell their stories.

Myspace recently witnessed a 340 percent growth spurt within the creative community, according to the company.
