MuleSoft Snags Nook Cloud VP As CTO

MuleSoft has appointed Uri Sarid as chief technology officer. Mr. Sarid will focus on MuleSoft’s technology strategy across its products and will report directly to CEO Greg Schott.

MuleSoft founder Ross Mason will now be dedicated full time to the company’s long-term product strategy and evolution as newly named vice president of product strategy. Mr. Mason will also continue to evangelize the company’s flagship Anypoint Platform.

Mr. Sarid  was most recently vice president of Nook Cloud for Barnes & Noble, where he led the team that architected, led and released the digital content and user platform for Nook. Previously he was vice president of engineering at eMeter. Before eMeter, Mr. Sarid was CTO and vice president of engineering at Aptana.
