Mindspeed Technologies, a supplier of semiconductor solutions for network infrastructure applications, has completed the acquisition of privately held, U.K.-based Pinochip, a supplier of integrated system-on-chip (SoC) solutions for small cell base stations.
Mindspeed plans to introduce an expanded product line of base station SoC solutions, leveraging the combined capabilities of both the organizations, said the company.
