Metawave raises $10 million

Wireless communications and radar sensing company Metawave has raised $10 million in a funding round. The financing was led by automotive supplier Denso, and included participation from Toyota AI Ventures, Hyundai, and Asahi Glass. Existing investors Motus Ventures, Khosla Ventures, Autotech Ventures, Bold Capital, SAIC Capital, Western Technology Investment, and Alrai Capital also participated in the round.

Metawave has raised $17 million to date.

The automotive radar market is predicted to exceed $8.9 billion by 2024, according to Global Market Insights.
