lenovo

Lenovo has opened a state-of-the-art research, development, sales operations and production facility for smartphone and tablet products. The facility is located in the central China city of Wuhan. The 200,000 square-meter facility has production lines, as well as sales operations and an R&D center.

Yang Yuanqing (Chairman and CEO, Lenovo): The Wuhan facility is an important addition to our global supply chain, but this is much more than just a manufacturing facility. We can respond more quickly to market trends.

In addition to the Wuhan facility, Lenovo manufactures products at its own facilities in Argentina, India, Mexico, Hungary, Brazil, Japan, the U.S. and multiple China locations. The company has opened five new manufacturing sites around the world since 2011, and acquired two other facilities through joint ventures.
