Leidos has obtained a task order contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency’s (DIA) Science & Technology Directorate, valued at $143 million.
The contract tasks Leidos with the creation and implementation of a comprehensive system for managing open-source intelligence. The system, named Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED), will support the DIA’s Open Source Intelligence Integration Center (OSIC).
The DIA contract falls under the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP), a framework agreement that facilitates indefinite deliveries and quantities. The work will be carried out in the National Capital Region, with software development activities spread across Leidos’ various locations.
This initiative is an extension of previous collaborations between the agency and Leidos, notably the National Media Exploitation Center’s (NMEC) Data Discovery Platform (D3P).
