Knewton Raises $51 Million

Education technology company Knewton has raised $51 million. The investment was led by Atomico, with participation from GSV Capital, as well as existing investors including Accel Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, First Round Capital, FirstMark Capital and Founders Fund, and debt financing from Silicon Valley Bank. This brings the company’s total round of funding to $104 million.
