Intel Capital Invests In Wearable Technology Company Recon

Intel Capital has made a ‘significant investment’ in Recon Instruments, a Canadian wearable technology company.

Recon’s products include Jet, a heads-up display for sports that delivers activity-specific information instantly, directly to the athlete’s eye. In addition, Recon recently introduced the Recon Snow2, its fourth generation heads-up display for alpine skiing.

With the investment, Recon will accelerate product development, marketing and global sales, says the company.
