Imanis Data raises $13.5M; appoints John Mracek CEO

Machine learning-based data management platform Imanis Data has raised $13.5 million. Existing investors Canaan, Onset Ventures, Intel Capital, and Wipro Ventures, as well as new investor Asset Plus Capital, participated in the round.

In another development, Imanis Data has appointed John Mracek from Neetseer, where he was CEO, as the company’s new chief executive. Mr. Mracek has a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT. In his previous roles, he was VP and GM, distributed commerce with eBay, advertiser product marketing VP with Yahoo, and entrepreneur-in-residence with Adobe.

Former Imanis Data CEO Nitin Donde will continue with the company as COO, where he will lead product and technology, said the company in a statement.
