ICF awarded $23M contract to support Oregon wildfire recovery

The Oregon Housing and Community Services department has awarded a contract to ICF to provide technology-enabled disaster management and program implementation services to support wildfire recovery efforts. The 64-month contract, valued at $23 million, includes a 16-month base term and four one-year option periods.

ICF will use its proprietary cloud-based technology, disasTRAX, to distribute $341 million from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program, according to the contract. Additionally, ICF will support the development of Oregon’s statewide grant management system with its data visualization tool, Waypoint.

The initiative aims to expedite the recovery process for Oregon residents affected by the 2020 Labor Day wildfires, by offering guidance and financial resources to build or relocate to safer and more resilient homes, says ICF.
