IBM and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) have collaborated to launch a center dedicated to developing analytics-based technologies supply chains.

The IBM Supply Chain Analytics Center of Competency (CoC) in Singapore will develop software and hardware supply chain solutions based on business analytics technologies. The center will also focus on developing analytics and cloud computing technologies. IBM scientists from the company’s three supply chain centers will collaborate with Singapore research and educational institutes on technical exchanges, joint research and commercialisation projects.

In addition to IBM’s three supply chain centers, IBM has eight global analytics solution centers in Berlin, Beijing, Dallas, London, New York, Tokyo, Washington and Zurich.

IBM projects $16 billion in business analytics revenue by 2015.
