HPE to build high performance computing systems based on SiPearl’s Rhea processor

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and SiPearl have inked a partnership to jointly develop high-performance computing (HPC) solutions. The partnership, which expands heterogenous computing options for supercomputing and leverages European architectures, will support and accelerate adoption of exascale systems in Europe, the companies said in a statement.

HPE and SiPearl will jointly develop an end-to-end supercomputing offerings that combine HPE’s supercomputing solutions and SiPearl’s upcoming Rhea processor, an Arm-based CPU.

Additionally, the partnership is expected to deliver joint HPE and SiPearl solutions to HPE’s Center of Excellence (CoE) in Grenoble, France.
