Guangming Founder To Operate Skype In China

SkypeSkype, the messaging service owned by Microsoft, and Guangming Founder are partnering to deliver Skype across multiple platforms, including PCs and mobile devices, in China.

Guangming Founder Information Technology Co. Ltd. is a joint venture between Guangming Daily Newspaper Group and Founder Information and Technology Group (FITG).

Skype is starting a beta period, as it migrates users and update the Skype software in China. The new version of Skype will be available on Windows 8.1, Desktop Classic (Mac and Windows desktop versions), Android and iOS (Phone and Tablet versions) and Windows Phone. Users in China will receive guidance on how to upgrade, says Skype.
