Google ups productivity ante with Table task management and automation tool

Google has launched a work tracking, task management, and automation tool tool called Tables. Tables, currently in beta, was built by Area 120, Google’s in-house incubator for experimental projects.

Tables helps teams track work and automate tasks to save time and better collaboration—without any coding required, says Tim Gleason, general manager of Tables, in a blog post.

Among the features of Tables, are bots. With bots, teams can schedule recurring email reminders, message a chat room, or move a task to someone else’s work queue, says Google.

The Table is offered in both a free and a paid tier ($10/month/user) versions.

Tables, with other teams at Google, is investing in automation.
