Google has signed a definitive agreement to acquire cyber security company Mandiant for roughly $5.4 billion. Upon the close of the acquisition, Mandiant will join Google Cloud.
The acquisition of Mandiant is subject to customary closing conditions, including the receipt of Mandiant stockholder and regulatory approvals, and is expected to close later this year.
Goldman Sachs is acting as financial advisor, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is acting as legal advisor to Mandiant.
