Google has unveiled a beta version of Google Web Designer, a HTML 5 authoring tool that can help developers design graphics and animations, without Flash.
Using Google Web Designer’s design view users can create content using drawing tools, text, and 3D objects, or animate objects on a timeline. Once a user is done creating your content, Google Web Designer outputs human-readable HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript.
Users can import assets from any other creative suite (hint, Adobe) or use the built-in illustration tools to create vector-style artwork with Google Web Designer. Google Web Designer also makes it easier to publish ads through DoubleClick Studio, AdMob, and other ad networks.
Google Web Designer is available as a free download for Windows 7 (and later) and Mac OS X 10.7 (or later).
