google_downtime_GoSquaredGoogle was down for a few minutes on Friday, 16th August 2013. Analytics firm GoSquared says it noticed a 40% drop in the number of global page views per minute around the time.

“Page views spiked shortly afterwards, as users managed to get to their destination, ” says GoSquared engineer Simon Tabor.
