Google Brain founder Andrew Ng launches AI company for manufacturing; partners with Foxconn

The  founder and of Google Brain, co-founder of Coursera, former Baidu chief scientist and Stanford Computer Science professor Andrew Ng, has started his own artificial intelligence company focusing on the manufacturing industry.

The company, Landing.ai will help enterprises address these challenges. We are developing a wide range of AI transformation programs, from the introduction of new technologies, to reshaping organizational structure, to employee training, says Mr. Ng.

To begin with, Landging.ai has inked a partnership with Foxconn. The two companies have been collaborating since July, and are developing AI technologies, talent and systems that build on the core competencies of the two companies, says Mr. Ng.
