Google announced three new initiatives, that the company says expands on its efforts to create more opportunities for everyone.

The first, Grow with Google, offers free training, tools, and events that can be used to learn new skills, find a job, or scale a startup. The second, involves $1 billion in Google.org grants over five years to nonprofits around the world. Google.org is the company’s ‘data-driven human-focused philanthropy’ wing. Last but not the least, Google employees or Googlers, can now volunteer one million hours to nonprofits.

“We think the Internet should allow everyone to become a developer, entrepreneur or creator, and we build our platforms around that,” said Google CEO Sundar Pichai in a blog post.
