FBI awards Salient CRGT $40.1 million cybersecurity contract

The FBI has awarded Salient CRGT a $40.1 million prime contract to provide cybersecurity services. Under this contract, Salient CRGT will provide direct support for cybersecurity program initiatives to protect information, defend information systems and cyber networks, provide integrated situational awareness, transform and enable information assurance capabilities, and create an information assurance empowered workforce, the company said in a statement.

The contract was awarded as a competitive task order under the FBI IT-SSS Vehicle. Salient CRGT will serve as a proactive partner to FBI’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Information Assurance Section (IAS).
