Facebook Going Through Corporate Restructuring

“Facebook has done a major corporate reorganization in an effort to be more nimble,” writes Liz Gannes in AllThingsD, adding that an internal memo about the restructuring made the rounds of Facebook during the day today. The corporate restructuring is believed to be bringing together design, product and engineering divisions around key areas like privacy or communication.

Facebook recently acquired location-based service Gowalla, and the company is opening its first East Coast Office.
