Estee Lauder using ModiFace augmented reality

Estée Lauder has launched an augmented reality-based product try-on on the company’s web and mobile website, in collaboration with ModiFace. Users can virtually try-on product shades on their photo or live video while viewing the product on the brand’s e-commerce product pages.

The Estée Lauder e-commerce augmented reality integration incorporates WebGL technology, as well as facial tracking technology.

Other customers of ModiFace include Sephora, Unilever, L’Oréal, CoverGirl, according to the company website.
