Eideticom, Los Alamos National Laboratory collaborating to build compressed parallel filesystem

Eideticom and Los Alamos National Laboratory are collaborating to develop a NVMe-based compressed parallel filesystem.

The Lustre/ZFS-based parallel filesystem leverages Eideticom’s NoLoad, aNVMe-based, Computational Storage Processor (CSP) for High Performance Computing (HPC), Eideticom said in a statement.

The collaborative effort was sponsored under LANL’s Efficient Mission Centric Computing Consortium (EMC3).
