Codeacademy, a website that offers its users free programming lessons, has raised a Series A round of financing from Union Square Ventures, O’Reilly, SV Angel, Yuri Milner (he of the DST Global, Facebook fame), Social+Capital Partnership (Chamath Palihapitiya), Thrive Capital, CrunchFund, Collaborative Fund (Craig Shapiro), Founder Collective (Chris Dixon), Joshua Schacter, Vivi Nevo, Naval Ravikant, Sam Altman, and several others.
