Dell to start selling Meta 2 augmented reality development kit

Dell will be the first authorized reseller of the Meta 2 augmented reality (AR) development kit from Meta.

The development kit will make the Meta AR headsets compatible with Dell professional PCs, including Precision workstations and Canvas, says Dell. The company is also planning to introduce “AR in a box,” a platform for which channel partners and sales people can show off AR innovations.

In partnership with Meta, Dell says it aims to make AR more accessible for business deployment, particularly in healthcare, manufacturing and construction.

The Meta 2 Augmented Reality Development Kit will be available for sale on Dell.com starting on February 15 for $1,495.
