Cray is introducing a new solution combining the Intel Distribution for Apache Hadoop software with the Cray Xtreme line of supercomputers. The company plans to begin shipping this Big Data solution in the second quarter of 2013.
Cray’s array of Big Data solutions includes Cray Sonexion storage systems, knowledge discovery using YarcData’s uRiKA appliance for graph analytics, among other things.
