Coursera Raises $43 Million

Coursera has closed $43M in Series B funding from GSV Capital, International Finance Corporation (the investment arm of the World Bank), Laureate Education, Learn Capital, and Yuri Milner. Existing investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and New Enterprise Associates also participated in this round.

Since Coursera was launched in April 2012, the company has grown to offer around 400 courses from 83 educational institutions, and has over 4 million students.
