Context Relevant Raises $13.5M Series B-1 Round

Seattle-based big data analytics company Context Relevant has completed a $13.5 million Series B-1 round of funding. Investors in the round include Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Formation 8, New York Life, and Bloomberg Beta.

BofA Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs will be using Context Relevant’s behavioral predictive analytics platform. Don Duet, global co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Technology Division, will join Context Relevant’s advisory board. The company has also named Bina Kalola, managing director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Rana Yared, managing director in the Securities division at Goldman Sachs, to its board of directors.

The company, founded in 2012, has raised $42 million to date.
