Comtech receives $3.8 million funded orders for location based services

Comtech has received $3.8 million of funded orders from a major Middle East service provider for a suite of Location Based Services (LBS) to be used to support multiple application deployments, including mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT), said the company in a statement.

Comtech’s LBS platform supports the generation and distribution of location information for both indoor and outdoor environments, enabling the development of LBS applications capable of locating target subscribers in 2G, 3G and 4G networks.
