Laurie Lutz has been promoted to vice president, CES operations, with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Mr. Lutz oversees the International CES’ relationships with the Las Vegas community as well as the day-to-day operations and attendee services for the International CES, the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology.
Ms. Lutz began her career at CEA in 2001 as director of CES operations. In 2005 she was promoted to senior director. Prior to joining CEA, Ms. Lutz was an operations manager with Reed Exhibitions in Norwalk, CT and started her career as a conference coordinator with Conference Management Company that later became Ullo International.
Ms. Lutz is a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) and the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC). In 2010, she was named one of Dealerscope Magazine’s 40 under 40 notable young executives in the consumer technology industry.
