Carahsoft to serve as ForeScout distributor for Department of Defense

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has named Carahsoft as a facilitating partner for an enterprise-wide blanket purchasing agreement through the U.S. military’s Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) program.

Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as a distributor to the DoD for software and services from Internet of Things (IoT) security company ForeScout Technologies. This BPA is open for ordering by the DoD and related agencies on a world-wide basis.

This agreement provides ForeScout software, maintenance and support for DoD, Intelligence Communities and Coast Guard activities worldwide.

DoD ESI is an official initiative sponsored by the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the establishment and management of enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) IT agreements, assets and policies.

ForeScout solutions are available for purchase through Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0119Y under the blanket purchase agreement.
