Laguna Hills, CA-based neuromorphic AI technology company BrainChip has announced M. Anthony Lewis as the company’s new chief technology officer. He will be succeeding BrainChip co-founder and current CTO Peter Van der Made, who plans to retire by the end of the year.
Mr. Lewis was previously the vice president and global head of the AI and Emerging Compute Lab at HP. Prior to that, he was a senior director at Qualcomm. He currently sits on the boards of Elysium Robotics and SeaDrone.
Mr. Lewis holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California.
