Bloomberg Brief Launches Islamic Finance Weekly

Bloomberg Brief  has launched its Islamic Finance weekly newsletter. In February 2011, Bloomberg had also launched a dedicated Islamic Finance Platform (ISLM) along with a Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) sukuk index.

The Islamic Finance newsletter monitors Shariah-compliant bond and loan offerings in the pipeline, gathers underwriter rankings and covers the issuance of new sukuk assets, sales of which have reached $6.6 billion in 2012, up over 300% on the prior year according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Ted Merz (Business manager, News Content,  Bloomberg Briefs): The Islamic finance market is dynamic and fast moving, which creates space for a service that both educates market participants and keeps them ahead of the game.

Islamic Finance joins 14 other Bloomberg Brief newsletters, which together now have more than 165,000 subscribers, says the company.
