BigID raises $30M

Enterprise data protection and privacy company BigID has raised $30 million in Series B funding. Led by new investor Scale Venture Partners with participation from previous investors ClearSky Security, Comcast Ventures, BOLDstart Ventures, Information Venture Partners and the SAP.iO Fund, the latest round brings BigID’s total funding to $46.1 million to date.

Ariel Tseitlin, partner at Scale Venture Partners, has joined the company’s board of directors.

BigID is based in the U.S., with engineering headquarters in Tel Aviv, Israel, and a European office in London.
