BBC Store using MarkLogic NoSQL database platform

BBC Worldwide has built the BBC Store using MarkLogic database. MarkLogic’s database platform is already used for BBC iPlayer and parts of the BBC Sport website.

Launched in the UK in November 2015, BBC Store is a digital service that lets customers buy and keep digital copies of shows. Over 7,000 hours of content are currently available.
