Autodesk acquires Spacemaker for $240M

3D design, engineering, and construction software company Autodesk has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Spacemaker for $240 million. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close during Autodesk’s fourth quarter of fiscal 2021, ending January 31, 2021.

Based in Oslo, Norway, Spacemaker uses cloud-based, artificial intelligence (AI) for architecture design, according to the company.
