Apple receives patent for steering device for potential military vehicles, originally approved for BAE

Apple doesn’t often dabble in automotive patents, but when it does, its for a steering device that could potentially be used on vehicles in a ‘war situation’.

While the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted assignee Apple the patent, the original application was approved last year for BAE Systems Hägglunds Aktiebolag, a Swedish subsidiary of BAE.
