Apple Launches IPad Air 2

Apple introduced the iPad Air 2 on Thursday. What is new about the newest devices? To begin with, the devices comes with Touch ID, biometric sensing the Cupertino giant has been working on. The iPad Air 2 can also be bought with a single SIM card that supports multiple carriers; which means users do not have to chose a carrier at the time of purchase. The devices are also getting an improved retina display, better cameras, and a faster processor. 

The iPad Air 2 is powered by A8X chip, which delivers a 40 percent improvement in CPU performance and 2.5 times the graphics performance of iPad Air, according to the company. The device delivers up to 10-hour battery life. The tablets are 6.1 mm thin, and weigh less than a pound.

The iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 come in gold, silver and space gray. The iPad Air 2 models with Wi-Fi models will be available for $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 64GB model and $699 for the 128GB model. The iPad Air 2 with Wi-Fi + Cellular models will be available for $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 64GB model and $829 for the 128GB model.
