Analytic Services awarded $29.6 million Defense department CIO contract

Analytic Services (ANSER), a public service research institute organized as a not-for-profit corporation, has been awarded a $29.6 million contract by the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer.

The contract involves providing modern, secure and mission-enabling command, control, communication and computer (C4) capabilities to the warfighter, the institute said in a statement.

ANSER will be providing strategic planning, capital/budget planning, capability assessments, analysis architectures and standards for the C4 enterprise, says the company. This includes tactical communications, satellite communications, information sharing, and mobile communication devices.
