Amplitude Raises $15 million, launches Pathfinder analytics tool

Behavioral analytics company Amplitude has raised a $15 million Series B round. The investment was led by Battery Ventures, with participation from existing investors Benchmark Capital, Data Collective, Merus Capital, and Quest Venture Partners. Neeraj Agrawal, general partner at Battery Ventures, will join the Amplitude board. Amplitude says it will use the funding to hiretalent, fuel product development, and expand sales and marketing.

Amplitude is also launching a new product called Pathfinder, which is an analytics tool that exposes different ways users navigate through a product. Pathfinder is built on top of Nova, Amplitude’s purpose-built behavioral analytics platform that the company says processes over 75 billion events per month and returns over 95% of queries in under 3 seconds.

Founded in 2012, Amplitude has raised $26 million to date.
