Amazon, Stripe ink expanded global agreement

Amazon and Stripe have signed an expanded global agreement under which Amazon will expand its use of Stripe’s core payments platform, and Stripe will be using Amazon Web Services (AWS) compute resources, including Graviton and Nitro.

Under the new agreement, Stripe will become a strategic payments partner for Amazon in the US, Europe, and Canada. Amazon started using Stripe in 2017 for market expansion in Asia and Europe. Stripe will be used across Amazon’s business units, including Prime, Audible, Kindle, Amazon Pay, and Buy With Prime, according to the companies.
