AltspaceVR Raises $5.2M

AltspaceVR, a software company  that wants to bringbringing traditional and holographic web content into virtual reality, has raised $5.2 million in seed funding. Investors include Formation 8, Google Ventures, Dolby Family Ventures, Lux Capital, Foundation Capital, SV Angel, and Tencent. The company says it will use the investment to continue development and strengthen its team.
