Accenture Launches Three SAP Innovation Centers In APAC

Accenture is opening three new Innovation Centers for SAP solutions in Beijing, Tokyo, and Singapore. The new centers join Accenture’s global network of innovation centers in support of SAP solutions, based in locations including San Jose, Calif.; Chicago; New York; Toronto; Sophia Antipolis, France; and Bangalore, India.

The centers will focus on developing solutions for a variety of industries and clients can experience and access all Accenture industry solutions at any of the locations. Some initial areas of focus for the new locations include:

  • The Accenture Innovation Center for SAP solutions in Beijing is focused on innovating new solutions for the communications, high tech, utilities, and retail industries. Specifically in utilities, the center will explore solutions that can be applied to help address China’s growing energy demands.
  • The Accenture Innovation Center for SAP solutions in Tokyo is focused on developing innovative solutions for high-tech companies as well as the electric power industry, including exploring smart-meter analysis, which is essential for enabling smart cities.
  • The Accenture Innovation Center for SAP solutions in Singapore has a preliminary emphasis on the consumer goods, utilities, oil and gas, and public sector industries. The center also serves as a hub to support clients from neighboring countries including Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

The Accenture Innovation Centers for SAP solutions bring together Accenture’s functional and industry expertise with the latest SAP technologies, including the SAP HANA platform and mobility and cloud solutions.
