Nasdaq to acquire Adenza from Thoma Bravo for $10.5 Billion

Nasdaq has confirmed its agreement to buy Adenza, a provider of risk management and regulatory software, from Thoma Bravo, a software investment firm. The purchase price stands at $10.5 billion.

Digital Reasoning Raises $40M Series D Funding

Cognitive computing company Digital Reasoning has raised $40 million in Series D funding. The funding was led by Lemhi Ventures and Nasdaq, joined by existing investors Goldman Sachs and HCA. Tony Miller, managing partner at Lemhi Ventures, will join Digital Reasoning’s board as a director, and Adena Friedman, president and COO at Nasdaq, as observer.

SanDisk Added to Nasdaq Technology Dividend Index

SanDisk's common stock will be included in the Nasdaq Technology Dividend Index, effective prior to market open on March 24, 2014. SanDisk initiated its quarterly cash dividend program in the third quarter of 2013. The Nasdaq Technology Dividend Index, which is evaluated on a semi-annual basis, includes up to 100 technology and telecom companies that pay a regular or common dividend.
