Dell was awarded a five-year, $120+ million, Information Technology Infrastructure Support Services (ITISS) contract, by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), with comprehensive IT infrastructure, application and user support services. The two companies have a 11-year relationship. The CDC, located in Atlanta, Ga., is an agency of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

Big Switch Networks and Dell have inked a software-defined networking (SDN) strategic agreement, under the terms of which Dell will resell the Big Switch Big Tap application, as well as the Switch Light Operating System, running on Dell’s Open Networking switches.

Dell has released the Boomi AtomSphere integration platform as a service (iPaaS). The platform leverages AtomSphere’s single-instance, multi-tenant architecture to provide insight into customer usage metrics. Usage of Dell Boomi AtomSphere iPaaS has grown by 13x year over year, from 35 million integrations last year to 450 million integrations currently, says Dell.
