Mike Verdu Leaving Zynga

Mike Verdu, chief creative officer with Zynga, is leaving the company. Writing in the Zynga company blog, Mr. Verdu said he has decided to go back to his roots, and start a new company. Mr. Verdu did not share any further details about his startup-to-be.

Mr. Verdu moved to Zynga from Electronic Arts in June 2009. Previous positions he held with Zynga include president, External Studios and SVP, Games.
