LinkedIn Gets A New Status

LinkedIn’s new company updates feature lets company representatives share snippets of information (including in the form of multimedia content) with people who are following the companies on LinkedIn. If you’ve been following specific companies you’ll now start seeing status updates shared by the company in your homepage news feed.

Currently there are “over tens of millions of professionals following over two million companies on LinkedIn,” writes the head of Content Products at LinkedIn, Ryan Roslansky.
